On receipt of your booking deposit and confirmation being sent to you securing your chosen date, you are agreeing to comply with. and are bound by our terms and conditions which are set out clearly below.
By accepting the terms and conditions, you are confirming the agreed contracted services and payments set out on the booking forms with all proposed Terms and Conditions set out below.
For bookings totalling less than £200 a non refundable deposit of £50 will be required to secure the date for your wedding hire.
For bookings of £200 or more a non refundable 25% deposit will be required at the time of booking.
Bookings enquiries will generate a booking invoice, receipt of payment confirms the booking, secures your chosen date and reserves your chosen props. and decoration.
Retention of goods & title:
Your obligations:
when you hire goods they belong to the trader that hired them to you. if you do not comply with the terms of the agreement , do something with the goods that you should not do, or do not give the goods back when the hire is finished, the trader may be entitled to repossess them, (bromley.co..uk).
In legal terms this translates as:
All supplied props and decorations shall therefore remain the sole property of non other than Wedding Treasure.
The client willl not sell, offer to sell, sublet or transfer the hire agreement to any other clients, third parties unless with prior agreement with Wedding Treasure.
No fee's or such profit can or will be made by our named client from the utilisation of our hire equipments at all.
Termination of Liability:
Wedding Treasure accepts no liability for and financial losses or liability incurred by the hirer or any other third party companies irrespective of adverse events, or unexcited outcomes.
Discrepancies and Complaints:
Should you wish to raise a discrepancy with your order please send this to us in writing by email within 14 working days of your event. We will not respond to any discrepancies raised outside of this time period.. Discrepancies raised outside of this time period will default from any possibility of refund or good will gesture.
If there is a discrepancy in your order we always recommend addressing this immediately, with the team on site where possible in order to rectify the problem with alternative options if available.
If a remedy is a suitable option we always endeavour to have happy client's rather than receive a complaint further down the line.
Law:
This contract is made between Wedding Treasure and the Named Client on the booking form.
This contract is governed by UK law and the Courts of England.
The client will hereby assume total responsibility for the loss/theft of and/or damage to all hired props and decorations.
Where fair wear and tear is noted, this will be shown to you prior to the event and such imperfections photographed and recorded if they are of significance for our records.
This will avoid any unnecessary worries our charges for the client.
The client assumes responsibility for the props and equipment hired, from the time it's delivered to the time that it is collected, even if the wedding/celebration itself only forms part of that duration.
The cost of replacing this equipment due to irreparable damage will. be charged at the full price of its replacement (as if new stock), which, in this instance, will be purchased to replace it.
Should you wish to see the full cost of any of the items at purchase price prior to your booking please let us now and a prices can be provided on request.
We strongly recommend you take out Wedding Insurance.
This may or may not cover such incidences as in the loss/theft or damage to equipment, it could also be beneficial to you in other ways. Wedding Insurance can help with cancellations unexpected or sudden illness and much much more. It is important to check with your insurer what is and isn't covered within your policy.
It is the responsibility of the client to find and purchase wedding insurance and Wedding Insurers own terms and conditions or the impact it may have on the cancellation or changes to one's booking with Wedding Treasure.
We offer a wide range of rental items, including chairs, tables, linens, and decor, to help you create the perfect atmosphere for your wedding celebration.
Hire charges/hire period begins from the time the delivery is made/ or the venue is dressed and the items are signed in by the recipient (wedding venue co-ordinator or client) and ends when the items are checked back into the vehicle to be transferred back to site.
All prices are inclusive of this time. should these times be altered rom the original booking an additional charge may be agreed and invoiced separately as deviation of contract/booking.
We ask that you or a nominee who can accept the delivery and our communication are present when we deliver/set up our goods and also when we collect the items so that you can see us check it all back into the van before we leave. site.
This ensures that nothing is identified as missing after its transportation back to our storage premises.
Damages can be highlighted/photographed at this time and resolved when back at the office.
As the deposit will be 25% of the booking, by accepting our terms and conditions you are pre authorising Wedding Treasure to take payment/part payment for these damaged or missing goods directly from the non refundable deposit and furthermore invoice you for any further payment required if necessary.
Adverse weather- we cannot accept responsibility for any damage incurred as a result of using any of our items outside after our we have left them.
Many of the hire items are made from MDF a highly soluble material that will absorb water quickly.
Spillages should be mopped up quickly and weather changes such as rain mean these items will need to be brought into the dry and dried off in the event of sudden unexpected rain.
Its is at the discretion of out staff weather we provide the hired items in the event of adverse weather due to safety and potential for damage to these items.
An assessment if necessary willl be carried out on site if the weather throws up sudden changes and we will do our best/ if possible to provide an alternative if available.
Alternatively if an alternative is not available and iIf this occurs a full refund will be given for any items that its decided in advance that cannot be used.
If hired items are returned stained or soiled additional work may be required to get the item back to its original condition ready for the next hire booking.
where additional cleaning time or specialist services are required to get the product back to its former state additional costs may be added and invoiced separately & accordingly.
Examples could be, mirrors and candelabra's with excess candle wax, runners, rugs and carpets or chair covers/sashes with stains from mud/drinks, etc covers with red wine stains. flower arrangements with excessive missing flowers to name just a few posibilities.
We always endeavour to ensure all products hired are free of marks and stains where we can but it must be appreciated these are hire items and not new, where we bring linen or items that may have an obvious mark/stain we will do our best to replace it or rectify it with spare stock.
Due to reasonable expected wear and tear of hire items, it may be that the mark/scratch is small and barely visible which should be expected with hire equipment and not new items.
We appreciate things change, new ideas arrise, guest numbers may change and many other reasons present themselves for changes in orders..
We will accept changes to your order up to 4 weeks prior to your wedding date.
This means that we can staff the delivery/ and/or set up accordingly and reserve your chosen hire items for you.
Changes made before the 4 weeks can be accommodated, however absolutely no changes can be made within the 4 week time frame as there is simply not enough time to make staffing and stock adjustments.
This aligns with the 4 week charging period where balance must be settled prior to your wedding date. Changes to an order within that 4 week period will adjust the quotation, invoices and may affect the balance due and therefore are avoided with such short notice.
Should you wish to make changes before this 4 week cut off date you accept that the original quotation and final invoice will be adjusted to reflect such changes and may result in your overall balance being more than originally quoted.
We are not currently registered for VAT and so prices quoted are exclusive of VAT at this time. (subject to change in the future).
We do not have a minimum spend, however, we may charge fuel/milage fee's to cover the cost of delivery for small items only or large orders that are more than 20miles away.
Should your order be subject to a fuel charge this will be made clear to you at the time of booking.
Payments are due 4 weeks prior to your wedding day and the invoice will be geared 6 weeks before.
Any changes made after this date must be made before the final balance is due at 4 weeks and additional invoices will be amended where necessary.
Once the invoice is paid we CANNOT refund items not longer wanted but we can offer an alternative if we haver one available. Additional charges may apply if item is more expensive.
All cancelations will result in the forfeit of the deposit taken at the time of booking.
Bookings canceled will incur a cancellation charge depending on the time of cancellation and can be viewed below:
-90 days or more loose the booking. deposit.
-less than 90 days more than 70 days before you will be charges for 50% of your order
-30 days before or less you will be charges for the full cost of your order.
Any cancellations MUST be made in writing to the email address kristy@weddingtreasure.co.uk or in writing to the address on this website.
Cancellation and any charges incurred will be confirmed in writing and if you do not hear from us within 5 working day of your cancelation please contact use to confirm receipt of your letter.
If payment in full for your booking is not received by the 4 week deadline prior to your reserved date we reserve the right to assume cancellation of your booking and invoice in full for the lost time/work and devotion of agreed contract as set out in these terms and conditions.
We STRONGLY RECOMMEND taking out wedding insurance to protect you from the unforeseeable tragedies that can suddenly make changes to your wedding plans such as critical ill health or bereavement's, thus protecting you for such cancelations in accordance with your insurance prodders own terms and conditions.
In the event of adverse weather conditions, snow, ice, flooding, high winds, any of which prevent the safe delivery or goods to the venue, which may or may not pose a risk to the staff members, clients & guests in the process, we will be in touch as soon as possible to confirm our inability to attend the site and provide such conformation for your insurers where necessary.
We will try our best to get hire equipment to you where we can and it may be that we can make alternative arrangmntts that may be more syited to the situation, however in some cases it may not be possible. We will certainly try our best.
We cannot put staff or clients at risk in continuing to provide equipment here in unsuitable weather conditions or driving to a site where a relevant weather warning has been issued to support unsafe/unsuitable driving conditions.
Adverse weather can sometimes be unexpected, un predictable and therefore Wedding Treasure accepts no liability for losses incurred as a result of such adverse events.
It is for all the above reasons we STRONGLY RECOMMEND that you take out wedding insurance as a part of the wedding planning process. in order to cover you as much as possible for such incidences.
